No! I think that it would be nice. You’ll want something “official” for your entrance.

We hired a harpist + a couple guitars (I’m not in love with them) and they will play 2 songs while the guests are being seated, processional songs, bridal song, and a song while we walk back up the aisle.

Perfect.  Instruments create the atmosphere that says romance regardless of what is played.  We have a steel drummer playing and I am excited!

I think that would be awesome.  I especially like the song at the end of 50 first dates, Somewhere over the rainbow played with a Eucalaily. I hope I spelled that right.

@simpleandchic:  I’m having this song for my processional too…did you have bridesmaids/groomsmen?  If so…did you play this song for their procession or was just the song YOU walked down to??   I really want it to be just my song that I walk to, problem is, the song is super long and I don’t know what else to play for them coming down the aisle.  (I have 4 bridesmaids)

I had 3 bm and a flower girl and 2 page boys, I had it for all them aswell, and I got them to wait a minute b4 the walked down to allow the song to gear up a bit….we all walked really slow and we still didn’t get heaps into the song, if you have this song it will need to be played for everyone.

ha ha ha, we’re also doing “somewhere over the rainbow” (the IZ version as well) as our processional. Can’t wait!!

Now if only I could find PREcessional music!

I love IZ’s version of “somewhere over the rainbow” it never fails to bring tears to my eyes. I definitely think it will have to be incorporated into the ceremony somewhere somehow!
