I have been looking for months on what song to walk down the isle to and nothing! We are having an outdoor country wedding (heck my dad may even wear his cowboy hat) and we would like to keep the country feel without making a new season on my big redneck wedding and without the sappy love songs that I usually hear from country music (don’t want to kill the party mood) my fiance and I both like old rock &roll and old country music and some modern music but nothing crazy 🙂 Someone suggested somewhere about the vitamin string quartet which I absolutely love but maybe its too classical for what I’m looking for. I need help! What are you walking down to?

I think you could go classical for your song to walk down the isle to with a country wedding.
I went to a super country wedding, people were wearing cowboy hats, and even jeans, they had kegs, it was on a ranch, etc and the bride walked to a traditional song. It didn’t change the mood of the wedding or anything like that. It was honestly breathtaking and people were cying left and right when she started coming down the isle. It was very memorable imo. the groom was ballling his eyes out and was one of the sweetest things I had ever seen.

One more idea, you could see if Vitamin String has any country covers. That could be really unique and keep in with the country wedding theme. I don’t think it has to be that way though! Do what you want!!
I am doing a beach wedding with nothing traditional, but am walking down the isle to can’t help falling in love….elvis by VSQ (it’s on their tribute to Michale Buble but obviously it’s Elvis)!

Im using Canon in D. Its very beautiful! I think its almost expected by people for you to walk down to an instrumental. I think it would be lovely for you 🙂

I listened to almost all of the Vitamin String Quartet’s music looking for my song! They have a bunch of covers from Faith Hill and a few other country musicains. You can listen to them free on myspace and pick your song without having to buy and download to hear the whole thing.
I’m walking to their version of “A Thousand Years” They do great covers!

I’m thinking of walking down to “makin plans” by miranda lambert. I my even use this song for bridal party instead of picking another one. It’s a pretty long song with lots of intrumentals
