I personally would not have the readers in the processional.  Just a reserved seat close to wherever they are reading–they should probably attend rehearsal and the minister (or whoever is performing the ceremony) will let them know when they should do their reading.

Here’s how I would decide with the ushers;

If you want the lighting of the candles/aisle runner to be something everyone sees and is “a part” of the ceremony, I would have the music start when they begin.  As soon as music begins most people realize it’s starting.

If you do NOT want the lighting or aisle runner to be an aspect that people really put much focus on, then I wouldn’t have the music that your parents and grandparetns are walking into on.

As far as having a special song or just the same music as your parents/grandparents, I think it’s just a personal choice.  Having their own song vs. the same song doesn’t seem to make much of a difference other than time.  If you are going to be worried it won’t be long enought, I would just do 2 different songs.  If you do have enough time, it may be easier to just put it all together.

Hope this helps =)
