I am torn about what music to play for the processional/ ressional. I will be walking down the isle to "In My Life" by the Beetles (Johnny Cash’s remake) AND I can’t shake the idea that I don’t want three completely different random love songs playing throughout the ceremony. I am really particular and like things to flow a certain way, so I am torn as to what to play for the processional & ressional.
I thought about doing an instrumental version of "In my Life" for the processional and playing the actual song when I walk down the isle….but decided against that because the song is actually a surprise for my Fiance and don’t want to blow it before I reach the aisle. I also thought about no songs, but I think that would be kinda weird for my BMs.
Does anyone have any recommendations of songs that are similar to "In my Life" or any suggestions on music that would flow well? I just want the cermony music to relate and not be random….

What about "All You Need is Love" for your recessional?

I know we’re walking OUT to "Somewhere over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World"
(If you haven’t heard it, you can listen to it here: http://www.rhapsody.com/israel-kamakawiwoole-2/facing-future
I have NO idea what to play for 1. the processional and 2. my entrance. Help?

I am using Con Te Partiro by Andrea Boccelli either for my entrance or the processional. it’s a beautiful song and very dramatic sounding… and you have many choices. You can play it in either Spanish, English, Italian or as a duet with Sarah Brightman, and there’s even a purely instrumental version also.

Recessional – So Happy Together by The Turtles. (I’m giving myself high fives on this. Couldn’t be more excited.)

I’m pretty sure I am going to walk in to an acoustic version of viva la vida by coldplay. I think it is just really pretty and they actually have a lot of songs that would work!

I just heard this on the radio yesterday and thought it would make a great wedding song, recessional or first dance–Touch Me by the Doors. Someones probably done a remake if you’re looking for a more modern version. Here is the original on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PECk9A-07Pw
But I have to say I love "All you need is love" too — Love, Actually, anyone? 🙂
And for the processional for your bridal party, what about another Beatles song? I love "I will" – and here’s a great cover by Jonathan Coulton: http://www.jonathancoulton.com/songdetails/I%20Will
