Our guitarist is playing The Beatles’ “In my Life” for the seating of the grandmothers and moms. Then the intro to “Can’t You see” by the Marshall Tucker Band for the guys to walk in to. My Bridesmaids will walk to the Beatles’ “I get by with a little help from my friends”…which I think might make them cry once they realize what song it is and the meaning behind it! We’re leaning toward “Let my love open the door” by Pete Townshend for the Recessional.

You might even ask the guitarist for suggestions- that’s what we did and he had some great ideas. Also keep in mind that not all songs will sound great on a guitar, or may not translate how you want them to!

We’re using “When You Say Nothing at All”.

I love “Bittersweet Symphony” but the strings in it are so critical I feel like something might be lost on guitar.

Maybe looking on Youtube for “acoustic guitar” and then you can see if there are any arrangements you like of a certain song.
