@KCKnd2:  +1 put them in the fridge or freezer, slice then cut in half and put half the circle directly on the dark circle. it’s not a huge difference the first time but over time!

I’ve recently tried Garnier Anti-Puff Eye Roller.  It has a little metal ball that you roll under your eyes to apply a gel.  It has a cooling sensation when you apply it – but make sure you let it dry all the way before trying to apply foundation or concealer!  I like it best on days when I’m not wearing make-up, I notice the most difference then.

I use Philosophy Eye Hope.  I really like it.

My mom puts a cold compress on her eyes in the morning before putting on makeup. Same idea as the cucumbers.

Hard candy makes an anti puff roller. The caffeine & cold roller really help. I imagine it’s similar to the Garnier version, but cheaper (I think it was $6 at Walmart).

I have this too. I was told mine might be from allergies,so I’ve pretty much given up on solving this problem. I’ve heard it can be fixed with surgery if you have it really bad.

It sounds really gross, but hemmrhoid cream really works.  It has an ingredient that shrinks the blood vessels.  Just make sure not to get it in your eye otherwise it will really sting!

@EffieTrinket:  My son gets those “allergic shiners” too.  I have found that antihistamine eye drops help.

I’m an allergy sufferer. When my eyes get red and puffy they reeeaally get bad. Sounds strange, but it works really well for me – Cotton squares (or balls, if you don’t have squares) soaked in cold milk. I just lay down with them over my eyes and it helps a LOT.
