I suppose my definition of productive is expensive!
This week was a productive week!
-We got our cake. We paid for it in full. SUPER excited about it. It’s going to be delicious!
-I am nearly done with the invitations. I sent them off to get printed (I designed them myself!), now it’s just a matter of approving the proofs!
-I bought door hangers for our out of town bags.
-I am about to sign the contract for a block of rooms.
-I just paid for the main piece of our decorations/favors (the litecubes)
So much for trying to wait until March to get stuff done!

@MrsFutureG: YAY how exciting to check stuff off your list! Getting close! 🙂

@MrsFutureG: Where did you get your door hangers? Still debating whether I want to do those, but good to know the options.

@classyashley: So it isn’t DIY but I don’t trust myself to do things with lines or crafts. Plus I’m good with Photoshop, so I designed and uploaded it.
I can’t speak for their product yet but their customer service is fantastic. I made a mistake on my order and instead of them telling me “tough isht” they told me to make a new order and they’d reimburse me for the incorrect one. This was all in about 30 minutes (they replied fast)!

Who is making your super-delicious cake?

@redbirdevents: Ooh you’re in Raleigh! I’m sure she’s booked for March but if you’re looking for a cake you should totally check out Custom Party Delights!

I’m a wedding planner, actually – and I definitely have Heather on my vendor list! She made the cake for a wedding I did at the Landmark in November. SO GOOD! I even ate some fondant, and I usually hate that mess!

@redbirdevents: My fiance was DEAD set against fondant. He hates that stuff. Heather convinced him to try hers and he caved almost immediately. Heather was wonderful, I hope she can make our cake look like the picture I showed her but if not, at least it’ll taste fantastic!
