I take photos of pets and love including people as well. I definitely think it’s worth it and if I didn’t do it myself I’d definitely get some good photos of my fur babies taken.

One I have taken ^ but I love the work that Zoo studio (http://www.zoostudio.com.au) do too. Even if you’re not an Aussie their photos are just gorgeous to look at.

Everyone’s pictures are adorable. We did one this winter. It was a fundraiser for the rescue we got one of our girls from. It was super fun and the pictures turned out great. Sorry for the 9 million giant photos but they’re JUST. SO. FREAKING. CUTE.

I wish I would have with my kitty. I unexpectedly lost him on Tuesday, and I’m really sad we didn’t have any pictures together (just me taking thousands of pictures OF him).

stephncollins:  I’m so sorry for your loss!!

Christmas before last (2013) me and Harper got our picture taken for a Christmas card. This year, I took our photo with a tripod in the living room. I also love to try to catch nice photos of her. The below photo was the first photo I shot in RAW, so it has a spot in my heart.

I do once a year.  A photographer here dedicates one day to pet portraits and donates the sitting fee to the Humane society.  She bakes treats for dogs and humans and gets teens to donate their time to keep the dog’s interest.  A ton of fun.  And my dog is featured on the photographer’s facebook page!
