I am getting mine checked Thursday, so not sure yet. Message me if you want to talk offline about this. I am definitely still learning about what progesterone levels do during the entire cycle – I am not on clomid – but will be taking progesterone suppositories each cycle after I ovulate.

According to this chart I found – progesterone is supposed to be up during ovulation and even more during your period….

All tested on 7PDO:

My level without clomid was 8.9

First draw WITH clomid 18.4

Second draw WITH clomid 34 ( Yesssss!)

I’d be happy with 21 on 7dpo! It shows a good ovulation!

JLFinch:  I just had mine done yesterday and it was a 5.8 but I’m pregnant so I’m not sure.  I think mine is pretty low so I’m very concerned :/

Without clomid or letrozole, my 7dpo progesterone was about 7, which my doctor said indicated ovulation, but probably  weak ovulation. On clomid/letrozole it ranged from 15-35, depending on the cycle. I was told on an unmedicated cycle, anything over 10 is good, on a medicated cycle they want to see it at 15 or higher.

JLFinch:  Nurse finally called back after the holiday weekend!  Don’t know if you doctors are like this – my GYN is the BEST – but she is part of a group practice that is popular – so they are usually swamped. Anyway – I was tested on day 21 of my cycle (28 day cycle) and mine is 15.5.

I think I was about 8 or 9 days past ovulation. I got the closest thing to a darker line on my o test around that time. So I guess a blood test can’t really tell you when you ovulated – it can just confirm it?  They only told me the number and that the number looked good.
