It’s not the exact same situation since my initial progesterone was okay-but-not-high, but I went on suppositories after I had some bleeding and cramping at 5+5, and am currently 33+5 with a healthy pregnancy. I took them through the first trimester. My doctor and midwife weren’t sure they were needed, but their thoughts were “some studies show a small benefit, so why not”. The waiting is agony, so I hope it does the trick for you.

I had pretty much the same experience as dianaj17 — progesterone was low but not dangerous levels but I was also spotting/cramping for a few weeks. Took progesterone through the first trimester. Baby is now one.

I have had two successful pregnancies where I had low progesterone that was actually dropping instead of rising, both times I also had spotting and bad cramping. I took progesterone during the first trimester and discontinued once things stablized around 12 weeks.

ETA I also remember the spotting/cramping during my first pregnancy being one of the most stressful experiences of my life, take care of yourself Bee!
