I’m working on the content for our wedding programs and I’m not sure what to include. So far I have our officiant, our parents and grandparents, our bridal party, an explanation of our ceremony venue, our officiant and handfasting. Then I have the readings listed (this is long so I may cut it), a thank you to our guests, a thank you to our parents and an “In Memory” section.
Am I leaving anything out? Do people put the music that is played in the program? Do you list the organists’ name? Should I keep the readings in the program (we are building out own ceremony so they are not limited to religious readings, which is why I thought it would be nice to include them….). Thoughts? This is one area where I feel relatively clueless…
