My fiance’s parents are divorced and I’m having a tough time trying to figure out how to list everyone on the program.
Should I just list the stepparent with their spouse under “Parents of the Groom” ( ie – Stepfather and Mother of the Groom ), or in a separate “Stepparents of the Groom” section?
To add some more complication… his father isn’t technically remarried, but he’s been with the same woman for over 20 years. So I’m assuming I should include her as a stepparent?
What do you think? Any suggestions?

It depends on how close he is with his stepparents. My FI’s parents are divorced, he loves his stepfather, but can’t stand his stepmother. So we’re just doing mother and father of the groom, and not listing their spouses. He feels that strongly about not including his stepmother, and his stepfather understands.

Hmmm I hadn’t even thought about this. How about this one: My Future Mother-In-Law and FI’s stepmother have THE SAME NAME!!! We call the stepmother “____ the second” behind her back because we think it’s so creepy/funny! How weird would it look to have two of the same name on a program?! Ack!
