I’m seeking help with creating the right wording for our petal programs. Since they are small, I need to keep it pretty simple.
Does this look okay or would you change the wording?
Lighting of Candles
Remembrance of Loved Ones
Charge to Couple
Exchange of Vows
First Reading by Friend of the Bride
Unity Candle Ritual
Exchange of Rings
Second Reading by Friend of the Groom
Pronouncement of Marriage
Thanks so much!!

I think this sounds good. This may be a silly question, but what is “Charge to Couple?” Is that the statement of intentions/statement of consent?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Here is the definition of “Charge to the Couple” – The charge is a reminder to the couple and all present that the wedding commitment is among the most serious of all decisions, that is must not be taken lightly or without reflection of all the implications involved. They are asked to declare to one another and those present that they recognize the importance of their pledge and are committed to honor it.
It looks pretty similar to Statement of Intentions. 🙂
