I know of a few.  There have been a few Blogger Bees that have gotten divorced like Mrs Candy Corn.

I didn’t but I have several friends who got divorced by age 30. Most of them got married too young or got married even though there were big red flags (ie their spouse had cheated on them while dating, only getting married b/c they wanted to have a kid etc)

@OhwhataJenn:  Umm yeah.  There’s even a board for us that are getting married again.

Dated my ex husband for over two years before we got engaged.  We were married for 3 years; divorced a few weeks after our third anniversary.  He decided he did not really want to be married and he refused counseling so I refused to be the only person in the marriage.  I was relatively young (20 when we met, 23 when we got married, and 26 when we got divorced); he was 8 years older and I thought more settled.  Boy was I wrong!

Never thought I would get married again but then I met my FH.  We have had a longer engagement (a month shy of two years) so there has been plenty of time to work out the details and agree that we both actually want to get married.

I broke off my engagement in April, after a little more than a year of being engaged. You can look through my old posts for the nitty gritty – needless to say, it was a very, very good decision. I spent about 7-8 months away from here because it was too painful to even think about anything wedding related, but during that time I healed and moved on and I’ve now met a wonderful man who treats me so well. I knew I needed a place where I could safely gush about him without annoying all of my friends, so I came back to the Bee!

Plus I love seeing dresses and rings and hearing about people’s weddings ๐Ÿ™‚ And I do plan on being engaged again and ACTUALLY getting married, so when the time comes I’ll already bee here ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am on my second marriage. I read the Bee blogs when planning my first wedding.  There’s a solid 50/50 chance you will be in the same boat. ๐Ÿ™

I was engaged once before, and was a member of the bee under a different name (changed it for man reasons, most not having to do with my ex, nor having to do with having already participated for a different reason). That relationship didn’t work out and we never married. I look back at that (long) time in my life and it seriously feels like another lifetime.

I met my now-husband about two years after breaking it off with my ex, and married a year later. We are so happily married now. We are great together, he is practically perfect for me, and we are so very very much in love. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sadly, I was divorced at 21. I married my high school sweetheart and needless to say we were too young and not ready for marriage. I met SO when Ex-husband and I were on our way out. It took almost 2 years for it to finalize. It’s a pretty heartbreaking experience promising someone forever and then seeing it all fall apart. We did not understand the seriousness of marriage at the time. Now that i do appreciate and understand what a real marriage should be i am excited to take that journey for the last time with SO.

@OhwhataJenn:  I am remarried, but I did not know of the Wedding Bee back in 2002 for my first marriage!  I did use The Knot.  Very weird to see my old posts from 11 years ago.

@sienna76:  Isn’t it strange?! Like, who is that person? I saw my posts from when I was 19 years old on the wedding channel. My old website (with the ex) is STILL up. I need to figure out how to abolish that nightmare.
