Pave means it is lined with diamonds (comes from the French word for “paved” I believe), micro pave is basically the same thing, just refers to them needing to be set under magnification since the diamonds/melee are so small. Never heard of a “prong” shank…prongs are the pieces of medal that hold the stones in the setting

Your e-ring is pave, and the band you have on with it in the first picture is micropave.

I think the biggest thing is just to be careful and be aware of your rings. Watch out for banging your ring on things, and take them to the jeweler to check the prongs occasionally. Clean them every so often with a little dish soap and a soft toothbrush, and after you clean them look them over to make sure everything looks normal.

But, if you know you’re going to be doing something super rough on your hands and are afraid of putting them down somewhere, I would get a chain and wear them on a chain around your neck in those situations, just in case.

Care related- I dont wear jewellery so O had no ckue but fiance had done so much research when buying it that he saw I woreit in the shower and questioned it

Now I remove my ring for dishes, gym, showers, hair styling, makeup and cleaning. I do take it off alot tbh but Im not getting it coated in akl those different products- i have a filigree style ring so many bits for gunk to get stuck in so Im doing my utmost to keep it clear of the daily crap/wear/tear. (the ring was much more than I ever expecred so im really trying to care for it)
