I voted for the sash because I feel it’s really lovely. However, what are you going for on your big day? Understated elegance (no bling), glamour, something with color?

    Where are you getting married?

Etsy has tons of sashes to choose from. I didn’t like the ones my store had to choose from…. My dress also has no bling and I thought it needed the sash to add some umpf.

I voted “no sash” because I really like the clean lines of the dress without it. I would suggest maybe a big long veil to amp up your accessories and maybe a statement necklace πŸ™‚

As someone who tried the dress on, I vote no sash.

@shannonh32:  i would totally leave the dress alone.  Its so nice on its on.  What kind of person are you?  Are you glam pow? Or more a understated wow?

@shannonh32:  Glad you agree:) Pronovias/La Sposa/San Patrick structure their dresses so well that I almost always think they are nicer without the extra stuff. The dress is so classic I would maybe say that some pearl drop earrings and a big pearl statement necklace would go really nicely. Maybe even have a little sparkle in the necklace? Pearls and rhinestones or something like that might look really nice.

I would also move toward a raw edge veil or something with a really thin satin cord around the edges. Since your train isn’t super duper long, maybe a Cathedral length veil?

I voted Sash. It’s beautiful and adds that little extra pop to the dress!

I tried that dress on (and liked it! so light!) but left with the Fanal. I wouldn’t add a sash to either but my considerations include: I am only 5’2″ and the sash really broke up my lines; I am borderline granola in my daily clothing, makeup and jewelry choices so the dress alone constitutes a significant amping up; the jeweler my rings came from lets customers borrow pieces for their big day. That will be my bling!
