Does anyone know if Pronovias offers “true” hollow-to-hem for their dresses? That is, can you order it with a shorter length, that’s also more proportioned for a petite person? I tried on some of their trumpet and mermaid dresses, but am worried that the shape would be altered too much if I just hemmed the bottom.
I asked a local bridal store if Pronovias offered hollow-to-hem and they were very vague (all they kept saying was that they would do the alterations), so I just wanted to see if any petite brides were able to order their gown this way.

Yes they do. Here is a link to a dress at the shop where I bought my dress in MN. They offer many lengths.

Sounds like they were trying to make some more money from alterations perhaps. Although the salon where I ordered my dress did say they caution brides about ordering hallow to hem because some designers can run +/- an inch, which can be pretty bad if it’s too short.

@tksjewelry: Thanks for the link! Good to know that they offer different lengths.
@soonerpsych: Yes, that’s the feeling I got when they didn’t give me a direct answer. It’s a little disheartening that I’ve come across more than one bridal salon who used this type of sales tactic.
