@emileebeth:  hey i am going to order this dress πŸ™‚ absolutely WOW. personally i love the feathers but im sure they can be removed by a good dressmaker. i wouldnt think you would necessarily have to ask pronovias – im not sure customisations are even possilbe. i know with the high end designers this is possible but not sure with pronovias.

i am actually going to make a small change too πŸ™‚ i am going to ask the dressmaker to put “fake” buttons down the back where the zip is.

@Deedee1983:  This is my dress too! I love the buttons idea!.. Did you ask Pronvias to do it or are you just having your seamstress do it? Any idea how much that will cost?! I want to do it too πŸ™‚

What kind of a veil are you wearing?

@mrswilone:  im going to order it on saturday and im going to ask can this be done. im sure i have been told before in shops that this is easily done but i might ask them can pronovias do it so the colours are spot on. otherwise i think i have to buy the buttons for the seamstress to put them on. not sure how much that would cost but wouldnt think it would be super expensive.

i fully intend to wear a long 2 tier veil but i havent tried it on with a long veil because they didnt have any in the store on saturday (they were being used on a shoot or something). im going back this saturday so ill try it on with a long veil to see what it looks like. i tried it on with a short volumised veil and it was fab with it but i have my heart set on a long veil.

what about you? are you wearing a belt? i dont think it needs it at all.

Let me know how your button questions go.. I’d like to do that too! I ordered my dress last month and they said it wouldn’t be here until December. I know I’ll have to get it hemmed and probably taken in.. So hopefully my seamstress can add buttons too!

My veil falls right above where the skirt begins to flare out and it has hints of scattered lace around the edges.. I love it! It looks like it was made for that dress. I kind of wish I would have tried on a birdcage veil too.. But I guess I could just get one of those for pictures.

I am wearing a Lazaro belt that is a champange color sash with pearls on it.. I love it! The guys will be wearing khaki suits so I think it will look great!

We are going for a vintage/shabby chic feel with lots of lace and pearls. Our colors are blush pink, some darker shades of pink, champagne, and brown.

Also, I’m keeping my feathers but the dress sells lady said I could see if my seamstress could make it into a little deeper/more defined sweetheart neckline. Thoughts? IDK how this would work/look with the feathers.

@mrswilone:  oh i might try it with a belt to see what it is like.

i would love a deeper sweetheart too – on the model it looks quite deep but in reality its more of a scoop i think.its only a very subtle sweetheart. i might ask that too when i am in although as you said im not sure if it would work because i want to keep the feathers.

i will keep you posted on how i get on πŸ™‚ LOVE this dress!!

I tried on this dress!! I loved it, but ended up purchasing another dress instead. My favorite part was the feathers!!! I think it would look better with more of a sweetheart neckline.

@Missceeee:  i have been quoted EURO1750 so that is about USD2200 but prices probably vary from country to country.

@IUrebekah3RT:  what dress did you go for in the end. i am hopefully ordering duende on saturday πŸ™‚ im going to enquire as to whether its possible to deepen the dip in the dress. not sure if it will be because of the feathers but i love it anyway so i wont be too disappointed πŸ™‚

Hey I ordered my dress on Saturday πŸ™‚ I asked about the buttons and I was told it would depend if the dressmaker could do it without damaging the dress so it’s a maybe πŸ™‚ forgot to ask about sweetheart neckline but again I assume I’ll have to wait to ask the dressmaker during fittings.

What type of veil have you? I tried a two tier cathedral length and it really took away fro

The dress so I will have to rethink the veil πŸ™

@mrswilone:  hi there – have you enquired as to whether a deeper sweetheart is possible? i do think it would look better with it. I might send an email πŸ™‚
