Awww I am so sorry to hear that this happened to you!!! I also ordered a Pronovias gown that “they say” is going to be in at the end of this month. I don’t completely trust that it will be in when they say that it will be for multiple reasons. I will definitely make sure to contact them within the 30 day time frame to avoid what happened to you! Thanks for letting us know!!!!

I am so sorry that this happened to you. Maybe you can try to contact Pronovias yourself. Hopefully everything will be perfect in the end.

@eknigh3: just ordered a Pronovias. Yikes. I hope it comes in my size and there are no mishaps. How long did it take for you to get your dress???

I am really glad to read this. I agree with you that they shouldn’t get this wrong! I am mean really? Also I think your store should’ve let you know about the 30 day gaurantee!! I am soooooooo Glad I read this since I ordered a Pronovias from a shop hours away from me. I was just going to have them ship it to me but now that I know this can happen I will for sure go there to try it on and check it out first!
Thanks and I hope it turned out ok!

to be honest, mistakes happen – but i think the shop you bought from made the error by not checking the gown – they should know the pronovia policies if they stock their gowns and therefore it is their fault
if i tried my gown on and it didnt fit – i would ask they check the size straight away if i knew my weight hadnt flucuated a lot
hope its all sorted now

oh I’m so sorry you had such a horrible experience. I ordered my Pronovias dress and everything came in perfectly. I’m sure it happens to every company here and there.
Are you sure it isn’t the fault of the bridal store submitting the wrong size when they ordered the dress from Pronovias?
Regardless that is horrible. So sorry. 🙁 huggsies.

Truly one of the worst customer service team we have encountered. No wonder they make you pay completely upfront the total of your bill. They already know ahead of time the horror and the first moments they will ruin. I wish I would have seen your post before I visited this dreadful store!!

To all of you now nervous brides waiting on a Pronovias gown – I ordered Pronovias and it’s perfect. Mistakes happen and I’m sure what OP experienced is very rare. Any idea how many gowns they push out a day, a week, a month? I’m sure it’s a lot.
I admire your hard work and everything you did to make the dress work for you, but I am baffled as to why you wouldn’t have gone right back to the shop after getting over your initial embarassment (totally understand that minor freak out, by the way), or at the very least, contacted the consultant you had worked with when you knew you hadn’t gained weight and you knew something was off about the dress. There’s no way I would have waited and busted my ass for nothing for three months when I was sure my body hadn’t changed. Should your salon have taken responsibility and measured the dress? Yes. Should they have been aware of the 30 day policy that Pronovias has? Yes. I’m sorry, but I don’t think you can hold Pronovias totally responsible here.
