As of yesterday morning, I am your dress twin ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚  I am so excited to wear it.  It is not at all what I expected to get – I thought I would end up with lace and no bling!  I looked and this is pretty much the only post about the Pinal!  I wonder who else has it…I will try to post a pic soon.

Hello Dress Twins! I’m so glad there are more of us wearing this dress, I thought it was so beautiful and knew it was the one from the moment I tried it on. Has anyone figured out what kind of accessories they will be pairing with their dress?? I’m curious if I should go for more gold colors, or if silver would work too….

@Pink.panda:  Right now I would say that I’m going with silver…although it’s a year away and who knows what I’ll end up doing by the time next May rolls around ๐Ÿ™‚  I think I am going to keep light on the accessories – maybe earrings and a bracelet – because the detail work is pretty intricate.  I doubt I’ll wear a necklace.

I am a Pronovias Pinal Bride! This picture was from my camera phone and it doesn’t do it justice for the detailed crystals and amazing train..i’m in love with this dress! I am going to go with crystals for my accessories too!

I’m deciding between two different hair combs (which one do you ladies think suits this dress best?) and the attached earrings. I’m so excited! Does anyone know what type of shoes they are going to be wearing with this dress?

@MelodyL:  Pinal looks gorgeous on you! As for the comb I would say I like the one on the left better. I’m not very good in heels and I’m thinking about just wearing some gold flats with the dress so that way I don’t have to worry about walking on ice and falling and hurting myself lol. Is that the veil you’ll be wearing? I haven’t been able to decide what I should do about a veil yet.

I love the train on Pianl! Has anyone decided anything on what kind of bustle they are going to have? My dress should be in any day now, I’ve been keeping my phone close to me in hopes that I’ll hear something soon!

@kbeach77 not only are we dress twins, but we’re also wedding date twins!! CONGRATS!

@Pink.panda regarding your train question, I really wanted to do a French bustle, but was told that because the train is so long, it wouldn’t hold. They ended up putting in seven bustles along the back to pin it up.

I can’t believe how many pinal brides there are!

Thanks Ladies!

@pink.panda. I’m actually going with a very long train with crystals along the side. I felt this dress was so dramatic I needed to be consistent! Also RE: Bustle, I’m doing a multi layer French bustle. My seamstress say’s it is pretty intense and won’t look like the typical french bustle but something much more fuller.

@DaisyLu the haircomb can be found on this website http://www.laurajayne.com/Combs.html The hair comb is called Harmony. I had my hair trial a few weeks ago and this comb goes perfectly with the dress. I’m also getting the earrings made and will not being wearing a necklace because I didn’t want everything to be too busy.

I have a question as I bought this dress back in May and really loved it. I had my first “try on” 3 weeks ago and was supposed to come back today to have the real alterations done with my wedding shoes, a bustier and petit coat they ordered for me. For some reason the seamstress went ahead and did dramatic alterations and when I tried on the dress I could barely breathe in it or move. It was also buckling in the back. The dress went from needing minimal alterations to so tight that I can barely sit down or even pick up my purse. It’s uncomfortable just standing still. The way it currently fits I will never be able to dance at my wedding and I don’t know how I can possibly kneel or sit at the church during my ceremony. I’m trying to find out if anyone else has had this dress fit like this? I’m getting married in less than two weeks and am so upset about it. I love the dress, but the level of discomfort is just too much. It’s so tight that with the dress on and a petiti coat you can still see where my belly button goes in. Any info on how this dress fits others is greatly appreciated.

@ProzJA:  Hey, I just had to get in touch to say, I just got married and this was my dress and when i went for my second last fitting, the one previous it was after getting really big and she took it in and the one after that i nearly cried cause my stomach was huge and my belly button was like a volcano:) and it was soooooo tight around my stomach, but when i went up for my final fitting it was fine, it is an extremely tight dress and because it is satin it isnt very forgiving, i will show you pics of my fitting before and then me on the day, with two underwear garments on cause i was so concsious and i had lost a good bit of weight for my day also… dont worry i think its just the dress itself is extremely tight as in its so heavy the satin, i got into the wedding car and said to my dad “f*ck me i cannot breath” i think its gonna burst at the seams if i take a deep breath but it didnt and it got looser and more comfortable as the day wore on.. you will be fine.. maybe say it to your woman doing the alterations and see can she take it out?! if your not happy!! the woman i had who done mine was fantastic:) hope this helps!!
