The first time I tried on wedding dresses, I really loved Norman from white one Pronovias. But I also love the mermaid lace dresses from Justin Alexander and Signature…
Any girls with pictures of themselves in Norman or a Justin Alexander (signature) dress like these ones?
Do you know about the price range of the Justin Alexander/Signature dresses?
Thanks a lot!

Norman! I loved this dress when I tried it on and by far better quality compared to Justin Alexander. The lace is just top quality.
i had my heart set on a Justin Alexander, but had a good root around under the skirts when I last tried it on. Disappointed at the finish, I ruled it out. They are appx £1700 here in the UK, before alterations, so I didn’t feel I was getting value for money.
Norman (daft name) is £1100 in the UK. I’m quite big busted for a UK size10 and sadly the top portion just wouldn’t come up deep enough to contain my assets, even if they ordered are larger size or two.
i’ve ordered a Pronovias design now, for many reasons. Value for money, design, fit and the fact that the ivory colour is fwarm ore vanilla-ry than the JA dresses. I’m pale and the warmer colour was far more flattering.

I voted Pronovias too, though I’m not sure how, since none of the stock photos have the model front on so you can’t actually see the dress detai at all. Why do they do that?
Anyway, I voted for it because (the bits I can see) it looks more proportional in terms of the shape and lace pattern.
But I kind of like all three of them.

Hi! I bought the Norman dress myself in Holland. It was about 1400 euro’s.
I was debating between Balira of Pronovias and this one. I think they look a like. But the Balira was much more expenseive (approx 2100). As I found them similar I choose the Norman.

Hi Julie, this is so funny, we are getting married the exact same day next year and we have both choosen the exact same dress – I am going to wear Norman by White Ones by Pronovias to (thats if you choose that one!). I know I am probably quite late in this post as you have probably bought your dress now but here goes – I have tried on pretty much all of Justin Alexander’s dresses and I have found them to be too heavy in the lace department. I have also tried on alot of Pronovias dresses and loved the Balira (which is very similar to Norman) but I actually found the lace nicer on Norman! I am from UK and I have just picked up a Norman in a sample sale for £600 but I know it retails for £1150 which I think is very cheap considering the quality of the dress and comparing other dresses I have tried on which are much more expensive. I am adding a lace high neck to it and changing the back from lace up to buttons and also changing the belt (in the pictures I have got a pronovias belt on it). Here are some pictures of me in it and of an example of the jacket I am have being made in the same lace – hope it helps. Louisa 🙂 xx

@Louisajayne22: Hi, I think you look really lovely in this Norman dress – to the point where you have helped to make my mind up too. I too have found it for a bargain but wanted a higher neck so would love to know how you are getting the higher neck made – have you sourced the same lace material from somewhere?
