- Wedding: October 2014
Hopefully someone is a better writer on here than me. Our wedding is exactly one month away! So I started vows tonight. I don’t feel like it flows well and it’s too wordy but I don’t know how to fit everything in neatly. Any proof reads? Tips?
When we meet I had no idea this is where we would end up, but from our first date I knew you were different. You are the most generous man I know, generous with your words, your love, your faith, your hope, your ambitions. You make my joy so much brighter & I’m so excited to share the rest of my life with you. I promise to always faithfully stand by your side, to speak lovely of you and to listen with compassion & understanding. I promise to share in your dreams, to encourage you and to remind you how beautiful you are.
I can only hope to provide the comfort & security for you to fall & rise as you have provided for me. You have held, and loved, and comforted me through my darkest fears & bought me my happiest days. Your faith got us through A*******’s pregnancy, you laid with me every week after my shots, through all of the appointments and all the uncertainty you never lost faith, in me, in us, or in our baby. You took care of me and cherished me through my sickest & most vulnerable. I promise to always take care of you, no matter what may come.
And B**, you are his guardian angle on earth. I know now that everything’s happens for a reason and God brought us to you. Thank you, thank you for making him your own. We’ve come a long way and I know there’s a long road ahead of us but I know you will never give up and you will give me hope when my mine is depleted that B** will thrive. You are those boys hero and you are my king that I will forever cherish. And I will never never give up on us and our love. As my dad always says, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” I love you, forever, and ever and always.
