As long as it’s not like the day before or the day of, I say propose whenever you want. Couples get ONE day…not a wedding week, or month, or year. The only reason I’d not do it right before is because obviously you’ll be excited and want to share the news and I think its tacky to flaunt your engagement at someon else’s wedding. That being said, once the wedding is over and you’re vacationing at another location it’s over and done.

I agree, after the wedding… as in the next day or a few days later, totally cool.

On the day of or right before so you can make a big show of it?  A pox on you. :p

YES! As long as you wait until the day after the wedding you both attended, I think you’re golden! Bride and groom get their WEDDING DAY! you don’t have dibbs being the only ones being happy that week LOL Anyone giving you side eye if you do is just lame.

*side note, my Fiance proposed a week after we had been to a wedding. I said he was inspired = )

cityroadsaretwisted :  As long as it is the day after ALL wedding activities are over, I think it’s fine. Doing it before will just take away from the special day of the bride and groom. I was in a wedding where one of the bridesmaids got engaged the Sunday after the wedding, but waited a few days to tell anyone… No one got upset and it worked out better since her family was in town!
