I think that they like to keep you in suspense.  I tried not to think about it since it usually built it up and you get upset if it doesn’t happen.

lol funny, I was going to start a thread JUST like this a few weeks ago, but I didnt because I thought maybe I was the only crazy one LOL.

I have been analyzing every situation, and a few times REALLY thought it was THE time, only to feel like a complete idiot afterwards, although, like you, I was good at hiding it haha!  One time I thought he was going to do it at Home Depot (crazy I know LOL) but he was acting so weird and it was so random that he asked me to go with him… and the other time we were on vacation, which I still think he was thinking about it, but changed his mind, I will find out eventually I’m sure ๐Ÿ˜‰  SO, I’m still waiting, and trying NOT to analyze situations anymore because obviously I suck at it, and I’m sure they are just trying to throw us off, and I’m sure they will get us good, so hang in there!

Good luck, and keep us posted when it does happen ๐Ÿ™‚  You’re not alone!

I really didn’t want to drive myself proposal crazy but there were definitely a few romantic dates and vacations that I was SURE he would be proposing… I was always wrong, lol!

I finally decided to stop waiting for it and just let it happen – and when it did I did not see it coming at all! It was perfect.

First of all… WELCOME!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Second of all — I do that ALL the time!!  Sometimes he’ll make a huge deal out of a date night or something, so I start wondering ‘is this IT??’ haha… we all do it. ๐Ÿ™‚

I knew my Fiance had the ring, so I’d always anticipate it anywhere we went. Don’t anticipate!!! If you’re expecting a proposal at the end of the date, you’re going to be disappointed to some degree and he WILL notice, even if you think you’re hiding it well. lol

oh my goodness, i totally know where you are coming from!!!

I was constantly on edge all the time, thinking this will be it! He asked my Dad and had the ring for 6 months before he proposed!

Then, when he did, i absolutely had no idea! Sounds ridiculous, but i was completely surprised!

Hang in there, pamper yourself and it will come!

Ellie Rose, I’m so happy the false alarms are over and it’s happened for real for you. I remember waiting for Fiance to propose (he took foreevvveerrr with the ring). I knew it was coming, but wasn’t sure when. It was pretty excruciating. One night he suggested we get dressed up and go to a really fancy restaurant (not his usual thing), so I thought for sure that was it. Nope. Aargh.
