maplecookies91 :  there is definitely legality in the laminated contract. I’d say you’re engaged! Congrats!!

It’s laminated. He can’t erase that signature and it would take kitchen sheers to cut it up. So yes, he 100% has to marry you now.

You went about this the hard way, though. You went on too many dates. Next time, type up the marriage contract to look like the bill at the restaurant you are going to on your first date and pay the waitress $10 to slip it in next to the bill when the check comes. Make sure he’s had a few drinks and distract him with conversation while he’s signing so that he doesn’t see the contract and BINGO, you have caught yourself a husband.

I am thoroughly entertained right now. Your last date has all of the makings of a Looney Tunes cartoon. I can picture Wil E. Coyote running away as fast as he can with TNT scorchmarks on the back of his shorts.

Just when I thought I couldn’t be surprised by anything anymore.  Bee, that whole ordeal is a mess.  Good LORD, please let that boy go and work on yourself.  You tried to rope a guy into marriage with a CONTRACT after TWO MONTHS of dating?  I just…I’m amazed.  I’m even more amazed that he was stupid enough to sign it, but given your manner I’m not sure he didn’t do so under extreme duress.

This is not how love works.  Period.  My god.
