I have never heard of a “if I get engaged” outfit.  Seems to me like it takes out the element of suprise!

I thought I was crazy and alone in thinking about my outfit! Hahah we’re long distance so he can only propose during one of our visits, so when it is in the range of his timeline I’ll just always dress extra cute!

I don’t have a specific outfit in mind because every time I buy something new I change my mind. I’ll have to wait till it gets closer to decide πŸ™‚ the one you posted is super cute!

Haha, I was wearing really ugly running clothes when I was proposed to. Clearly I didn’t see it coming πŸ™‚

LOL.  I was half-clothed when he popped the question, as we were getting ready for Christmas lunch at my parent’s house.  So, no, jeans and a bra was not the exact thing I had in mind during that magic moment, but I said yes anyway!

I love my proposal outfit. It was a patterned dress with tights. When he proposed though, it was snowing and was outside, so my coat kinda clashed with it. He had a photographer take pictures of the proposal and I wish now that I’d been wearing jeans. The dress ended up not looking cute sticking out of the patterned coat (too many patterns!). I kinda new the proposal was happening, but since we had reservations at a fancy restaurant, I’d thought it would happen there. Whatever! I still think about the proposal though when I wear that dress!

Lol funny this topic came up, Ive been thinking about this as I have a feeling a proposal will be happening this weekend. Since its chilly out where I live will probably wear blue skinny jeans and riding boots, fitted sweater and a cute jacket.  Will do my nails tonight too. So excited but so scared at the same time hope things go as I think they will!!!!!!!

I was in jeans and a t-shirt, exhausted from a long travel day the day before, messy hair and looking pretty rough. Didn’t take a single bit away from the proposal. I’d say don’t put too much thought into this. You’ll just drive yourself crazy and spend a ton of money on clothes; and if he takes a little longer to propose than you expect, then you might start to resent all the times you got all prettied up and didn’t get a ring.

lmao I was wearing my grocery shopping clothes/laundry day (they fall on the same day). A baggy gray tee shirt and leggings! I would have looked mucho cuter if I had known! πŸ™‚

That outfit is gorgeous! However, I knew the proposal was coming for about 1 1/2 weeks (bc i knew the ring was in the house). The first two or three nights, I was wearing the cutest outfits I could possibly find. But then I was tired of constantly expecting it. So I decided to just let it happen and try not  to anticipate it so much. He proposed to me when I had no make-up on and my hair was in a messy wet bun after having just showered. Ultimately it doesn’t matter πŸ™‚ he loves me even when my hair is in a nest on top of my head!

I knew I was getting engaged but I decided to wear sweats!… I was not going to change into a nice outfit at 10pm to walk down the cold beach. Had it been day time then I probably would of picked a cute outfit!

I had on leggings and a t shirt, I’d already washed all my makeup off, and we had been swimming for hours that day, so my hair was a trainwreck that I had piled into a bun on the top of my head.

I had gotten my nails done though. πŸ™‚

I was wearing a flowered sundress! I didn’t plan it, but it DID cross my mind very briefly when I was getting ready.  I decided I wanted something casual and sweet.
