I wore a silk tafetta dress, and I loved it! It was very light and comfortable, and it looked great in pictures. What are your concerns about tafetta?

My Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses are from JCrew and are Silk Taffeta.  I got them because of the color, not fabric.  I haven’t actually seen the dress in person as all of my BM’s live out of state but I did order a yard to make the groomsmen pocket squares out of.  It seems to be really lightweight (which the girls may actually be a little chilly since my wedding is in the winter)–so I think it would be great for a spring/summer wedding but it does seem to wrinkle pretty easliy.  Luckily we have a steamer at my venue and the way the dress is made, wrinkles shouldn’t be too easy to see.
