I wouldnt put strands, unless you put them on the stand the flowers are in.

I would put flat back rhinestones randomly on the petals of the flowers.

@bluebelle23:  I would look for a box of rhinestones from Michaels or AC Moores and apply with a hot glue gun, crazy glue, or gorilla glue. Hot glue would be my first choice just for the thickness of the application, just make sure it is hot enough so that you will have less spider web strings stretched all over the flowers every place you passed with the gun.

@bluebelle23:  Individually gluing rhinestones on to petals may be too time consuming if you are doing your own flowers. If you want to add some bling, I would add some rhinestone floral picks.
