youmaysayimadreamer :  that was so random and weird… When I was messaging Flora this morning I was sent a picture that I had no clue what she was trying to show me and I was not understanding her at the begining of the conversation, she usually is really good with her english that I had to ask if I was messaging with Flora.

nemi :  yeah odd right? Ruby is usually really nice and understanding too. I wonder if the production dept stepped in because we had issues with their work. Either way it puts me off from working with them in the future for anything…

youmaysayimadreamer :  I give up…  This was my last exchange with Flora.  I will have them send me the ring and I will have it repaired here properly. 

I gave them the chance to make it right and they blew it in my eyes. I had asked them to inspect the ring and let me know what the approach for repairs would be and they disregarded it as well.  There is no way they “added gold and made the prongs stronger” as they say.

nemi :  Yikes that is so disappointing! Does it seem pointless to have them remake the whole ring for you with thicker/longer prongs? It doesn’t seem like they even tried? Are they refusing to do so or do they just think tightening the prongs is enough and you just gave up on the remake?

hm2012 :  They were not budging at all.  They flat out refused to remake the ring and she just kept on sayng that they put more gold on the prongs and made them stronger.  She simply replied to my last text with an OK.

They have shipped the ring back to me and it is set to arrive tomorrow.  I will have the ring inspected again, the ring lasted 3 day on my finger after my husband gave it to me before it became loose.  I am sure it won’t take long for that to happen again and with the thread conversation that I have with them I have enough evidence to do a chargeback if needed, something I truly do not want to do, but they have left me no other recourse. They insisted I return it to them so they could fix it and if anything remake the ring then they did not do as they said. 

 

It is very disappointing to say the least.  I have two more projects that I want done and will be looking for another vendor to complete them.

nemi :  That’s no way to do business. If they said they will remake it, they should remake it. Even if they eat the cost of one ring they could have had more business with you if they apologetically remade this one as you asked. It’s not as though all their products have issues but if they do it’s unfortunate they don’t know how to remedy it to customer satisfaction. That’s to their down downfall. I’m sorry you’re going through this!!

hm2012 :  Nope it is not. 

Before I sent the ring to them I told them I wanted to know what the plan of action was BEFORE they did anythng.  I gave them a couple of days as I did not want to bug them and knew they obviously had production of other pieces for client deadlines.  When I asked her for an update she tells me it is fixed!  I asked what was done and she then stated we added more gold to the prongs and send me a video. I truly can still see the small prongs as the original ring. 

It was like I was going in circles with them via text.  They have lost me as a client.  I have seen their work I trusted they would deliver a well crafted piece as they have done so many times with other clients pieces.

marriedalready69 :  Exactly I can’t trust you.  MORE so that you sent me a ring that the stone got loose in 3 days! Then she tells me if I take care of it, I should not have a problem!  I do NOT do any hard work with my hands I am litterally at my desk typing away all day and the first thing I do when I get home it to take off my Jewelery.

nemi :   youmaysayimadreamer :  my ring arrived today and it is the correct size. I am very happy with this one, but we are still going back and forth about the ring that arrived far too large. She says it is kse enough. I disagree as it cost me $180 to have sized down to the size I ordered. She wants to discount my next order, but I am not going to order from them again. 😐

MammaPants :  Glad to hear your ring is the correct size.  My ring came in on Friday and the prongs look no different to me.  We shall see how is holds up.

nemi :  we are still bickering on my refund. They have offered $30 for making my ring the wrong size. They insist my mandrel is off, but the second ring they sent is the right size… 🤦 I get that this was still cheaper than buying from anyone else, but I dont think I could ever recommend them to anyone.

MammaPants :  Thats exactly what bothered me the going back and forth for them to do right by their wrong. I will need to get mine resized as well as it fits a little too loose for my liking.  I have not had it measured here so I am not sure if it was true to size but not by much.

And the stone is loose again!  They refuse to honor the guarantee even though when the 1st time the issue arose it was.  The ring lasted 2 weeks.  I was putting on a blouse when I heard the rattling of the stone.  Flora has been down right stubborn and wants me to pay $698 to produce another ring!  They want me to pay for shipping again to send it to them to “fix” it but WON’t remake it unless I pay for production!  I have now opened up a dispute with Alibaba.com

 

Wish me luck!  I hate I have had this experience with a ring that my husband bought with so much love and sacrifie.
