I am a week from my wedding and can now start to focus on the finer details…one of the things I would like to provide are flip flops in the ladies toilet for the guests…but really struggling to find a vendor who sells about 30 large flop flops for about £30. Did you guys provide these, if so how did your guests feel about it? I’ve always been super grateful everytime I’ve been to a wedding where they have been provided.

We got ours on amazon. In a white basket and they were invidually bagged. I think it was 40 pairs of s/m/l for about £60 if I’m correct.
They all got snaffled up within the first half hour of dancing and the ladies loved them and wore them all night (and some the next day too).

I still have the flip flops from my best friend’s wedding six years ago! She snatched up a bunch from Old Navy when they were on crazy sale, although I’m guessing that won’t help you much given your use of £! But yes they were a big hit and I think it’s a fun thing to do.

You can find flip flops for $1 or $2 each at the dollar store, basic quality but it’s just for one night and has lots of sizes and colours to choose from, but I’d get these asap as most dollar stores are selling off their summer stock to make room for Halloween and Christmas.

I’ve literally never seen anyone wear these flipflops at a wedding. I’d put these in the ‘waste of money’ pile.

There were flip flops at a wedding I went to recently. We didn’t partake, but some did.
We’re looking to provide slipper socks – it’s not going to be warm enough for flip flops! 😀

I dont understand why people dont wear shoes to an event that they can wear for the whole event.

stylish shoes are often not also comfortable.
I can’t find ANY flats that fit my feet and look appropriate (I have rarely shaped feet. I regularly have salesmen tell me sorry, nobody we sell makes shoes that would fit your feet). It seems inappropriate to wear flip flops in the beginning, but more socially acceptable at the end.

I was just at a wedding yesterday and saw a few women wearing flip flops and women that went bare foot on the dance floor! I personally wouldn’t wear flip flops or go bare foot, but I wear high heels all the time so my shoes never bother me. However I think some women would appreciate the flip flops if they are provided. Try Amazon for purchasing.

I’ve gone barefoot in many weddings as the night goes on. Those high heels are pretty but not made for dancing!
Try old navy for flip flops. They always have those $1 sale days

I always appreciate when people provide flip flops for dancing. I usually wear sky high heels and although I can make it through dinner the last couple hours are excruciating on my feet if I want to cut a rug, which I always do!
I would second PPs who said Amazon or old navy are good choices for cheap flip flops
