I couldn’t believe that either. The thread disappeared before I could see her latest response.

no doubt she’ll be back in a year or so complaining about her SO leaving her with a baby she didn’t want

The actual method of action with Plan B or the morning after pill is to delay ovulation. If ovulation has already happened, within the past 5 days, you’re screwed.

So yeah, I agree with you 100%

But her doctor told her it was a great method of BC!

Your post title intrigued me because…well, duh. But now I’m sad I obviously missed a good post!

Darn this thread sounded interesting! Too bad I missed it. Oh well.

But yeah, Plan B should not be taken unless for a one time accident/emergency. There’s so many other birth control options out there and we have this lovely internet to use for research! There’s no excuse for being uneducated about this anymore.

It’s right there in the name, folks. If it was meant to be your first means of contraception, it would be called Plan A.

Who can even afford that? Plan B is expensive. Or is it cheaper now than when I was in college?

jackiebee :  It was always free for me at Planned Parenthood. You know, every few days, when I went to pick up my “birth control”.

Was this post here in the TTC community? I’m just wondering why in the ever loving f#&$ this would be a pertinent post in a community where we’re all actively trying to get KU’d…. I think the original poster definitely missed on the whole knowing your audience part.

Sephiroth :  oye. I missed the original post, but who really thinks that’s a good idea?! It’s called Plan B for a reason lol. Plus maybe it was just me, but the one time I had to take it the jolt of hormones made me a crazy woman. Who would want to go through that every time they had sex??
