@SpecialSundae:  Please no busted cans of biscuits. Fredericks will measure you free of charge. They actually train regularly and look for actual fit over a simple equation.  Sister sizes sizes are always a good idea to try to ensure a proper fit. Do it!

I usually buy a 36C in a certain brand at Wal-Mart but I went to specialty place before the wedding and was measured at a 32E and the fit was amazing! It’s almost impossble to find in-stores though and I don’t have the money to spend on that kind of bra. My Wal-Mart ones work for now. Bras never seem to fit me very well except for the ones I bought and the one the lady at the store put me in.

La Senza has some of the worst fitting bras ever (for me) too! They’re so frustrating! I tried to buy lingerie for the honeymoon there and nothing fit properly. To get cups big enough the straps were waaaay too long and the underband was much too big! La Vie En Rose ended up working for the lingeries, but they don’t sell 32E either and their 36Cs don’t work too well for me.

Holy cow!!! I was told years ago that I was a 36C and that’s what I wore all through college. A couple years ago I figured out (through trial and error in dressing rooms) that I got a better fit from 32D and it fit so much better I was thrilled but had a hard time finding bras in that size. I just measured using the guidelines above and I’m probably actually a 32 G! Holy cow! Nordstroms here I come…

Can anyone tell me where to buy 26/28 band size bras?

Most stores in North America don’t seem to believe anything above a D cup should exist, and that anything bigger should just have more Ds added to the end.  I wear 32G and order them from Bravissimo.com

I’m not sure why I started talking about bra sizes with my coworkers this weekend, but they would absolutely not believe I wore a G cup.  My one co-worker with bigger boobs said she was a D so that couldn’t be possible, she is waaay bigger than a D cup too but since that’s as big as the cup sizes get she thought she had to be that size.

I’m pretty sure I’m wearing the wrong cup size.  The middle gaps.  And whenever I bend over (which is a lot, because I have a baby!) my boobs fall out.  It’s driving me insane.  Maybe I need a different cup style too?

@cbee:  I was browsing around eBay the other night and found a seller with tons of Le Mystere bras for sale (cheap too).  I got all excited until I saw the sizes.  Small bands and large cups.  Bad for me, but maybe they have your size?  I’ll PM you a link.

My Mum worked for Bendons for almost 10 years, so I’ve always worn properly fitting bras (I’m a 36G and have been since I was about 17). Mum fitted my friends when we were in highschool and even some of their mums. They all found they were wearing the wrong sized bras – and they had gotten their previous fittings from lingere stores.

I am a full A/small B. VS told me once I was a 34D.  They didn’t believe me when I said most certainly not, until I showed them what a D bra looked like on me.

@FutureMrsNRoss:  I cannot find it ANYWHERE! No department stores, nothing. I’d like to try a 30D, but no one carries that, either.

@TogetherThroughLife:  I like Nordstrom for fittings; any bra boutique would be great too. Butterfly Collection does skype bra fittings too!

@vorpalette:  You’ll have to look online. Try barenecessites, figleaves, butterfly collection, brastop, nordstrom, and ebay (ebay.co.uk especially)!

I am a 36DDD and my strapless torsolette for the wedding is a 38 DD and the cups fit PERFECT.  I am getting the hooks in the back altered to fit me.  The 36 was too small in the cup 🙁

I am a 34DD, but when I got ‘sized’ they told me I was 32DD. LOL, nope.
