Found Lindsay Brin’s Boot Camp Postnatal video and love it. It’s only 20 minutes each and there is a different workout for every week (1-12) after giving birth. I didn’t start until week 9, but started on Week 1 but it felt just right. I am pretty sure I couldn’t have started earlier than Week 7, physically. It is just the right pace and amount of time to keep me motivated. She even says, don’t do this everyday!! Haha…great for my lazy bones. They have a beginner, intermediate and advanced fitness model to follow throughout each workout. I was stuck at a 5 lb plus weight pre-pregnancy since the second month and wanted to kick start strengthening my aching body. I have more energy and less aches in just a few workouts.
If there are other videos you love or tried this one…let me know. I found this one off of the Amazon reviews and love love love it. The instructor is not annoying in any way and neither is the music.
I also have another video I’m supposed to do with baby that I have yet to try but very interested. Oh…and here’s a common sense tip I tried to ignore and paid the price since I’m so used to being barefoot and pregnant around the house: don’t try to workout barefoot or barebreasted. Put on your shoes and sports bra or you are in for some painful tenderness when the fun and gams are over.
