I went to visit a sage when I was living on an ashram in the Himalayas. I did not have to say anything at all and he knew a huge amount about my situation and many of the things he said came true. We had no previous connections and again, I hardly said anything at all (there was a language barrier and after the fact I had my grandmother translate further). Naysayers have probably only been to people here who are trying to get your money. I believe that once you get outside of that (particulary in the Eastern world… less so in the Western world from what I have seen), there are people who do have a gift.

DrAtkins : this reminds me! I sat with one at a fair, who I wasn’t entirely impressed with (again, I saw a medium who blew me away, this one was so so) and she said “cars… why am I seeing cars? I see cars cars cars” and we had just purchased a new car like 3 weeks before.
Vaguness is easy but sometimes they are eerily spot on

I think there may be people with second sight but I think too that many may be just like the tv show “Psyche”. He notices the smallest minute details about a person, their clothes, their mannerisms, jewelry, their immediate environment and as a result comes across as if he is gifted. …

If you’ve got the money and enjoy it go for it. Don’t base your life on it. I’m a pretty perceptive person and I had another friend who was the same way and we used to play the psychic game. People thought we were creepy accurate but really they’d given something away or we’d overheard something or they’d fall into a “type”. If we could give people chills and make them swear we were psychic on a whim professionals are sure to be doing it better but are just as bs. I once did have a freaky experience with a 100+ year old ouija board but I’m a scientist so naturally I’m a sceptic. I do hope the psychic reading I got for my sister in law during her bachelorette is true though: 2 kids and one happy marriage, I’d like that for them.

mrstodd2bee : I was thinking the same thing! I love that show!
But that’s still very talented that someone can pin point your life so accurately by the art of deduction. They should be working in law enforcement!
