Hi Bees!! I’ve begun planning our 2014 Puerto Rico wedding and need some help with venues. We’re going for an old world Spanish feel and are steering clear of the beach. I’m not big on hotel weddings either but have a couple in the mix just for comparison. So far we’re narrowed down our list to the following: Hacienda Siesta Alegre; Hacienda Campo Rico; Jardines del Castillo; Hotel El Convento; Hotel Gran Melia in Rio Grande. Has anyone researched any of these? Had their wedding at any of them? I’d love some feedback since websites and emails can only do so much. We’ll be visiting each venue in September but any help before then would be great! Thanks!! 🙂

If you like a Spanish feel venue for your wedding, you can choose El Convento Hotel or Casa España. Both are in Old San Juan. This place is beautiful and also you can have a photo session at the streets with the beautiful colors og the houses.

@luandstephgetmarried: Did you visit Hacienda Siesta Alegre? I am in talks with them about booking. But I want a rainforest atmosphere. I was wondering if you have any personal pics from your visit that might help me make my decision.
