This Gin and Ginger punch was one of our favorites till my friend broke our punch bowl. You can make the syrup a few days ahead. I love ginger so I add more and since its a bit sweet for my tastes I only use half the syrup per batch.

My soon to be Mother-In-Law makes a GREAT punch.

Two batches fill up a punch bowl.

1 can of orange concentrate

1 Liter of 7UP

and the best part:

Any flavor of kool aid you like! (just a packet with no sugar and mix with water. I personally like to use blue raspberry)

And of course you can add a vodka or rum and it will still taste great.

Hope this helps. Its a great punch for any kind of gathering.

i used to do this for parties.  i was always a big hit.

1 bottle Cold Duck Champange
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 liters ginger ale
1/2 gal rainbow sherbet

I agree, it sounds like you are thinking of more of a batch cocktail vs. a true punch.

If you dont want to add the sliced fruits itself, or prepare some fruits; you can just opt to have a concentrate.
