futurekk :  You may be having a hard time because what you want isn’t punch. It’s just large batch cocktails.

This Gin and Ginger punch was one of our favorites till my friend broke our punch bowl. You can make the syrup a few days ahead. I love ginger so I add more and since its a bit sweet for my tastes I only use half the syrup per batch.

My soon to be Mother-In-Law makes a GREAT punch.

Two batches fill up a punch bowl.

1 can of orange concentrate

1 Liter of 7UP

and the best part:

Any flavor of kool aid you like! (just a packet with no sugar and mix with water. I personally like to use blue raspberry)

And of course you can add a vodka or rum and it will still taste great.

Hope this helps. Its a great punch for any kind of gathering.

I hope you are serving coffee too! I never understood Cake & Punch. My mouth feels pasty just thinking about it.

I agree, it sounds like you are thinking of more of a batch cocktail vs. a true punch.

If you dont want to add the sliced fruits itself, or prepare some fruits; you can just opt to have a concentrate.
