Although we were married in October, we waited for June to honeymoon because of work schedules. We stayed at The Hard Rock in Punta Cana. Upon arrival, a server handed us drinks and the front desk upgraded us to the Presidential suite. This set the tone for an amazing honeymoon! Each day was better than the next….
One of the excursions we chose to try was a four-wheeling adventure…so much fun!!!!
We took a boat to a private interaction with the sea lions…They were the most wonderful and playful animals I ever saw!
We also booked a romantic dinner by a pool on my husband’s birthday..I cannot explain how delicious the food was!
We spent a ridiculous amount of time at the pool. There were 15. We just walked around until we found an empty one. It is such a large resort, and it felt like no one else was there.
View from our balcony
There was a karaoke bar at the resort. This picture was taken just before I volunteered to sing…My husband promptly dragged me out of there..hehe
The beach was amazing..The ocean had great waves and the water was beautiful.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating…They were constantly sending us little treats like this during our stay.
I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Great pics and feedback! Thanks! I’ll be at Hard Rock Punta Cana in exactly one month and can’t wait to check it out. A couple of our other agents have been there already, but I’m dying to see it for myself. Love the excursions that you did, too! Playing with sea lions is definitely not something you can do just any old day at home! :-). Glad to hear you had a wonderful honeymoon!

We enjoyed just about everything in terms of food. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was the breakfast buffet available at many of the main restaurants They had a huge selection, but I just didn’t care for much of anything.
We really enjoyed breakfast at the Cafe’. It was a seated meal and the food was delicious!
Do not leave without trying Ipanema, especially if you both enjoy meat, and go hungry. I have never been offered so much food before in my life! My husband and I left before the courses were over. We couldn’t move!!!!
I really enjoyed Ciao because I am a sucker for Italian food.
You will be offered Mamajuana relentlessly…Do it!!!!!!!!!! It is yummy but very potent. It is a specialty drink in the Dominican.
