Puppies are awesome!  lol.  I think I got really lucky.  He was never really a chewer and never went after anything he shouldn’t have, and only peed inside a handful of times.  By 4-5 months, just a month or two after we got him, he was fully potty trained.

I love the puppy stage, and puppies, but it is absolute hell to get through.  By the time our vizsla outgrew his puppy attacks, I needed an entirely new wardrobe.  Over a year later, I still have scars on my arms and legs!

Ours would wait until we were outside on the street to start his onslaught.  He “pantsed” me several times while out walking, and many people were horrified at how vicious he was.  Holding back my tears, I would try explaining that this was “normal” vizsla puppy behaviour.

Here is a pic of my arm after he decided to instigate play while on a walk… he was about 6 or 7 months at the time.

Ha ha our puppy was such an annoying chewer! After we got her, I was like oh no what have we done. The wonderful bees on here assured me that it would get better, and of course it has. She is now a big 2 year old girl and only chews her toys… orrrr sometimes other things if we leave her alone too long ha ha.

Ugh the chewing is the worst.. My very first dog once chewed the CABINETS! The CABINETS!!! And he also chewed an entire TABLE LEG!
