We have an english bulldog named Oxley von Hayes (Ox for short!).  We’re big buckeye fans and are college sweethearts from OSU.  We’d always hang out on the oval in the spring under the statue of Williams Oxley Thompson, OSU’s first president, on the Oval.  And Hayes, cause Woody Hayes is a legend Laughing.  He’s 2 next month.  Yes we’re having a birthday party again!  He’s 50 pounds and I swear he is just the most energetic bulldog I’ve ever come across.  But he’s my little cuddle bunny as well Innocent  His father won best in class at westminster a few years back and I’ve been dying to show him…but all he wants to do is play!  The breeder is a good friend of the family and I even saw our baby Ox on the day he was born and fell in love!  We both say all the time how he’s made us better people and how we can’t imagine living life without him.  Here’s a picture of him and hubby first day we brought him home.  And another of him all grown up!

@ Petunia , awww!  She’s adorable!  I keep telling our baby Ox (yes I talk to him, I’m “that” mommy, hehe) I need to find him a girlfriend and she’s just so sweet!

@Petunia123 So random, but I was just looking at your bully again and realized we both have the same rug, hehehe!

@MsJeep23 I love his jowls too!  I love having his collar off and when his shakes you can hear them flapping back and forth!  The little things in life…Laughing  What type of puppy are you getting next week??  So exciting!!

@MsJeep23:  Tuney needs a man so bad!  All my other family dogs are little dogs, which don’t get me wrong, they seem to appreciate her being a large woman ๐Ÿ™‚  Here are some more recent pictures of her.  (I knid of feel like I’m pimping out my dog – hehe)

I realize you cant really see her in the picture below…but I think this one show’s her silly-ness.   She’s so rolly!

The cuteness level on this thread is through the roof.

Awww, I don’t have a picture of Dozer (our english bulldog) when he was REALLY little, but here he is…

And here are some of the puppies that came out of us (ahem*) lending out his “services”

@Mrs.tobe: I just laughed really loud at the “lending of services”.  Dozer looks like he’s in one of those poses where he’s about to do some silly little wiggle then run really fast…then take a nap (that’s usually the order Petunia does her little energy outbursts in)

@Petunia123: LOL… he totally was. He gives “the crazy eyes” then does a little crazy jump and runs at you sideways. He is so cray-cray. He loves to sleep, and I LOVE that about him… He tries, but he’s just not very athletic.

They are such lovable low maintenance dogs.

AH you english-bulldog people! help me! Fiance wants one desperately, as do I, and I did a google search and in our area they’re between 3000-4000! Just not possible. Is an english bulldog out of the question? Frown We wouldn’t look to get one for about a year. Just looking for some information!

Here’s our pup when we got him (Dec 09), with Fiance:

and now..the big lug!
