@winstonchurchill:  I have not gone through this situation in particular, but with my older boxer, I got close to having to put him down…..3 times!!

I’m sorry you and your Fiance are going through this. Puppies are the most precious, loyal additions to our families and it can be quite hurtful when they are sick. Your dog is being taken care of, and the vets will make sure they do all they can for your baby. Just try to relax in the meantime and send good vibes their way. πŸ™‚

Oh no! I’ve never been through this exact situation but one of my lil guys was once very ill with parvo & it was very scary & sad to see my pup that way so I definitely feel your pain. Maybe she picked something up while getting spayed or maybe she’s sensitive to anesthesia. What ever it is, I hope she recovers soon & is back to her happy puppy self.

I had a kitty who didn’t do well after her spay. She needed “cage rest” and antibiotcs for a while afterwards. She is fine now! Hope your pup is better soon!

Poor puppy! I’m thinking good thoughts for her and hoping that maybe she just didn’t react well to the anesthesia and once they give her some anti-nausea meds and probably some fluids she’ll feel much better and perk up.

Any update? Hope your puppy is doing better, it could just be an adverse reaction to the anaesthetic. My kitty didn’t cope very well after her spay, it took her a good week to get back to normal and then she managed to bust her stitches and ended up back at the vet. Lots of love to your puppy!

@winstonchurchill:  Do you have an emergency vet in your city that could see her today?  If she can’t keep food or water down and is throwing up that much she probably shouldn’t wait until tomorrow to be seen.

@winstonchurchill:  Awesome news! Don’t feel ridiculous, not even for a moment more. You did the right thing, especially since she was unable to eat or even drink properly. She might have either taken even longer to recover or gotten worse at home! They probably put her on fluids to help her system get back to baseline. Yay coming home!

@winstonchurchill:  YAY!!!! Congratulations and DON’T feel ridiculous. Puppies pass away all the time from very simple things, so your level of worry was definitely warranted. I’m happy you get to bring your furry baby home πŸ™‚
