@happilyeveraftergirl:  I loved the experience that I had with Moissaniteco! I asked so many questions via email and they even offered to send me a wax mold of the ring I was interested in because I couldn’t decide if the band would be thick enough! Here’s my solitaire!

My ring came from moissaniteco and everything was perfect. I have seen two bad reviews on weddingbee on moissaniteco rings – one, the side stones kept coming loose. The other, the width of the band was far too thin for the weight of the centre stone and the band warped, but I believe they were advised this might be an issue in advance.

@happilyeveraftergirl:  perhaps order a wax mold of the ring you want. Then you can better judge if its the ONE!

We ordered from Joseph Scubach jewelers. I read some mixed reviews of Moissy Co and it was enough to get me to start looking around at other places. Plus I really wanted a mix of diamonds and moissy and there were only a few styles that fit the bill on MoissyCo. But I know that many moissy girls here have ordered from there and been thrilled with their purchase.

ETA: Be sure to post pictures once you get it!

@happilyeveraftergirl:  Here is the ring for everyone to see!

I do recommend ordering from MCo.  Their customer service before you buy is amazing.  After you buy, it becomes so-so, but still ok.  I bought my ring from them a few weeks ago and when something wasn’t right they shipped it back and forth for free to fix it.  I should have my ring back on Tuesday!!!

@happilyeveraftergirl:  Only downside is that I can’t return the ring because I will be a 3.5 ring size

I saw my ring for the first time after purchasing it, so I was also worried about returning (for a while I was getting a non-returnable ring).  I decided I would just go for it because you can always sell it on ebay or diamondbistro if you didn’t end up wanting to keep it!

@happilyeveraftergirl:  Gorgeous setting! The Fiance and I ordered one of my engagement rings from MoissaniteCo. It was a semi-custom job – they ordered the centre stone (an Avarra emerald) from BTD and set it in a setting similar to one they have on their site but I think they specially ordered one from their suppliers.

Anyway, I have nothing but praise for them. Their communication was fantastic throughout the entire process – even during my freak out when I heard that BTD was discontinuing their emeralds. We had similar apprehensions since our order was also non-returnable but I absolutely love my ring.

@Mrs Canuck:  +1 Definitely see if you can order a wax mould to be sent to you before committing

I’ve heard mixed reviews. I did end up choosing them and was mostly pleased but I’ve noticed my Forever Brilliant is more of a JKL colour range instead of a GH (I had a J colored diamond before that and it was whiter), so perhaps they gave me old stock or it was a dud stone. The sauldering of the head on my ring was kinda crap as well.

I’ve heard tons of bees that have had positive experiences though so you should definitely consider MCo. Dealing with Blue Nile’s customer service and then going to MCo’s service was definitely a big jump, just not in a good way.

That’s my ring!!  I’ll admit, my moissy is yellower than i thought it would be, but it doesnt really bother me.  I like the colors it shows and it gets tons of compliments all the time.  I didn’t have any problems with ordering, but might have to send it back to be resized (it fits but I didn’t account for swelling in the summer and would prefer it be a tiny bit bigger).  Here’s a pic for you, with 1.8 cushion center (the bottom band is the matching moissy band, middle band is diamond so you can kind of see a side by side moissy/diamond comparison if you were interested)

@happilyeveraftergirl:  It is a horrible website design. I’d call them and just chat — feel them out for yourself if you’re at all unsure. But if you’re interested, I’ll tell you what sold it for me. Again, many many bees here have had a great experience with MoissyCo, it just wasn’t right for me.

1) They have a 30 day return policy for any ring with no questions asked (assuming it’s not a custom job) and no restocking fee. That’s because each ring is custom made. Mine — with no custom work, is taking three weeks to make. The issue for you is many of their rings start at size 4.

2) If you buy larger than a .5 ct moissy, you can trade up at any time and have the price of your original stone count toward the price of your new stone. Even if you end up switching to a diamond.

3) I like the quality control better. It’s important to note that I have no idea what MoissyCo’s quality control is personally, I’ve just heard stories. My ring was supposed to be ready today, and it reached the quality control step and didn’t pass. They called last week and told me, apologized profusely, and it’ll be ready on the 26th. Their communication has been great.

This is the one I’ll get. 3/4 ct. total worth diamonds for the sides and a 1 ct. forever brilliant moissy center.
