I would go through a florist. They can order you the stems, and that way you are more guaranteed the color (since they pick them up from the flower mart in person, usually). If they aren’t in season, that can be a real problem, though.

Purple isn’t a popular color for ranunculas so the growers don’t dedicate a very large portion to their fields. You can get them but you’ll need a very saavy florist to make sure they can get a sizable quantity. Realize you might be paying a premium for something like this.

I had a really hard time getting the pink/purple. The company I ordered them through called week of the wedding saying they didn’t have enough. They said I had to switch colors or pick different flowers.They turned out ok just not what I planned. I am guessing you would need a big time florist to be able to guarantee that you coud get them
