I have wide feet and I bought that Kelly and Katie satin pump in purple and I LOVE them!  They are so comfortable (at least from what I can tell wearing around the house for short periods of time) and they look awesome on.  I think they are great for wide feet – you should definitely try them out and see if you agree.  They are really nice quality and look a whole lot more expensive than they were.

zappos.com has a very easy return policy.. so even if you have to order and return a bunch of shoes, it won’t cost you any extra..

here’s what I found on zappos.com http://tinyurl.com/y8f2oo8

and here are some I found on shoes.com http://tinyurl.com/y9tf2xq

@bluebutterfly – I know what you mean!  I like them so much I wish I could wear them now.  I wouldn’t wait though…they already seem to be selling a lot because of all the reviews on DSW and it looks like one of the colors already went out of stock.  If you don’t like them you can always return them to a DSW store.  The purple is really pretty but I think it’s a bit darker in person than it shows up on the website.  I will most likely wear them for my wedding – my only issue with them is that I wish the heel was like an inch taller (I’m really short so I want the height).  I will probably stick with them though because I haven’t been finding much else that I like.

So I’m reviving this post since I am in a similar dilemma and some of these shoes don’t exist anymore!  I wear a size 8, but have a wide, flat foot so most strappy or pretty shoes do not look good on me.  I also am not a big heel person, but I would like a slight heel for my wedding day.  I want purple special shoes to match my bridesmaids and my sash, but it is soooo hard to find.  I’ve checked all sorts of online sights, but there are so few options out there.  Any ideas?????  Thanks for any help.

I don’t have wide feet, but found that Menbur runs a little wider in the toe box than most other heels, making them infinitely more comfortable than any other heels that I own…

@Lifecoachtraci: Zappos.com is the best! They have a huge selection, and fast free shipping (free shipping for returns too!). You have a year to return any pair of shoes, as long as you don’t wear them outside (so you can try them in your own home, with your dress, for a long time!)

I’m not sure if Audrey Brooke (at DSW) has a purple shoe, but I’ve ordered the wide with by that brand and they were super comfy.  I would try Me Too shoes on Zappos.com.  They are super comfy and fit my wide feet 🙂

Thank you for all the help.  Zappos had 1 purple wide shoe and I orderd it and it wasn’t wide enough!  I guess wedding shoes run even wider.  I’ll just have to look for double wide I guess.  My wedding dress came in today and I can’t go for the fitting till I have shoes so right now this is my priority!
