BOY!!
I can’t say i was surprised. For some reason I saw this coming. Although I was REALLY hoping/wishing for a girl, I also like the idea of having a boy. It just means I will be really hoping/wishing for a girl again when whenever we have baby #2. I was just hoping for a girl the first time so i wouldn’t stress about it the second time around! So I am admittedly less excited than I would be if I found out i was having a girl. sigh.
What is most important though that at my anatomy scan today, every bone and organ they could see looked good. I have to go back next week for another ultrasound because my little boy was hiding his face and they need to check out some more bones that they couldn’t see today.
So while I am slowly getting more used to the idea of a boy, please feel free to tell me all the wonderful things about having a boy that you don’t get with a girl so i can get even more excited π

Ahhh Congratulations!!!
You will save money with a boy, with little girls they have such adorable clothes and you are going to want to buy everything, boys it’s easier. π

Yay! Congrats! Boys are fun and less expensive because you don’t have to buy so many accessories (bows, ruffle socks, etc).

YAYYYYY!!!!!!! I’m so happy to hear that the pregnancy is going well! A boy is always perfect as a first child – think of it this way, when you have a girl as baby #2, and they grow up together, you’ll always have the boy to look after his little sister, and beat up on boys who treat her badly. π Congrats, this is so exciting!

I was reading the title and in my head I read, “PurpleUnicorn is having a… BABY!” Duh, Peep, we already knew that.

Boys are closer to their mommies, girls are closer to their daddies. Congratulations!

aaaawwww congrats!!
That’s amazing!!
My FI’s brother had a boy, now 1.4 years old. He is the cutest thing ever.
We play with trucks, bubbles, lawnmower (not real ones), etc. and the clothes… oh my, so cute!
He’s even going to wear a tux to our wedding. How cute!
so I think having a boy is pretty awesome π
Congrats again!
