Member@HappilyEverAfter54: lol, i can’t say I am closer to my dad! either way, DH is awesome so I am sure our son will be close to both of us. I always told DH that one good thing about having a boy would be that with his influence, his son should turn out to be an awesome man one day and so we are giving the world one of those rare “good guys”, lol.
@pengoala: LOL, i like how you say “when you have a baby girl”. The thing that freaks me out is when i think back to those people i know with 2, 3, or 4 boys and no girls! I would love to have both!

@trugem: good point about the expenses, i hadn’t thought of that. Although, i am sure once i start buying boy baby clothes, i will go overboard like i would have for a girl!

I secretly hope that we have a boy first, but of course I’ll be thrilled with a healthy baby of either sex! DH thinks we are destined to have all girls since he came from an all boy family.

Congrats!! One of my best friends has two little boys (2 months and 3 years), and I ADORE them! Cute, cute, CUTE! I’m secretly hoping that we’ll have a boy when the time comes, although my husband is rooting for a little girl. I just keep thinking about growing up and having my little brother…he was awesome as a kid…and still is (and so much easier for my parents to deal with than me!! LOL).

Aww! Congratulations!!! I have a friend who recently had her third boy. She was hoping for a girl, too, but, ever since baby number three was born, my friend has been SO over-the-top in love with him! She seems very content now with her family of three sons!

Whoa! I guessed ‘boy’ just before I opened the thread because there have been lots of bees having girls and then it swung to boys and it seems you were in that swing. Yay, congrats!

thanks for all “congrats” comments everyone!!
and all the info/advice about having a boy is helping. I also just found out a couple of hours ago, so i really just need to adjust because i was so set on having a daughter that i guess i created this entire person and relationship in my mind. Now i am starting over with my son and the more i think about it, the more cool i think it is and excited i am! I am sure i will fluctuate for a while, but i can’t stress enough how i am most happy about everyhing being good and healthy! I never realize how nervous i am about getting results until during the exam when I am analyzing everything the technician is doing and saying!
