We are weeks away from our wedding and about to print our Rehearsal Dinner invites. FI’s parents very kindly offered to pay for the RD(or at least part of it). Should we include their names somewhere on our Rehearsal Dinner invites?

We ordered some Rehearsal Dinner invite samples from weddingpaperdivas and will likely order Rehearsal Dinner invites from there. The samples do include a “hosted by the ____ family” or “hosted by ______ & _________ ________”. My FI’s parents are paying for the Rehearsal Dinner so we will put a “hosted” line with their names to appease them. We will not, however, be including their number or information for RSVP, as they can’t be trusted to keep track of it. Fiance has graciously agreed to accept and keep track of RSVPs for them, so we’re creating a dummy gmail address to reply to. More info than you asked for, but that’s just our situation.

If they are paying and hosting, then their names should be on the invitation.

I would just put hosted by____________
It was easy for me because it was at their place, so I made sure to put something like graciously hosted at __________________.

Thanks for all the help! FI asked his parents and they said they don’t need a mention on the invite just to thank them in front of the guests. That works!
