Everything that isn’t wedding related goes on the back burner! Luckily, I was able to snag a full time dental job just this past week, but I was really worried because I told everyone I interviewed with up front that I would need a week and a half off soon. You’re getting into the home stretch… try not to think about what you’re giving up and think of those things as rewards for a wedding well done ^_^

I’m putting off having a baby……my hubby wants another one, but I told him after the wedding (we are renewing our vows).

@Ashley1281:  This. We were going to start TTC earlier this year, but then decided to get married so we posponed baby plans until after the wedding. We already have a daughter together.

Before I got a pt job, I was putting evrything off.  Now I just try and not do too much wasteful stuff that I can save for wedding related items.

I think, unless your rollin in dough, that everyone has to put something on the back burner. We were planning on moving, possibly into a rent to own home, and getting a second car (sharing a car for 4 years is getting old!). However my dad had a near fatal heart attack last year & we discovered my grandpa has chronic leukemia so as much as I wanted to have the above taken care of BEFORE a wedding, it just wasn’t in the cards life has dealt us this round… Still a bit difficult for me to accept some days (i’m very goal oriented) but i just try to think about our wedding day & how amazing it will be to finally, after 7 years together, be man & wife. I really think that push come to shove, it won’t matter to me in 5-10 years that we didn’t meet my pre-wedding goals…
