Hello fellow bees! Earlier I had posted about my bouquet, because I thought the fiance wanted a tropical theme. Well, after we talked about it he said he really doesn’t mind, and actually would like a more elegant theme.
Here comes the tricky part: our colors are turquoise (or any blue hue) and coral. He’s military, so his groomsman will be in dark navy, and my maids are wearing coral dresses. However, our theme flowers will be white callas, with maybe a few orchids in the centerpieces. I want a really elegant wedding reception, but will I be able to pull it off with coral and blue? When I look up ideas on google, pinterest, etc., I love the look of it, but I just don’t know if callas will look good as centerpieces?
Here’s the details: Bridesmaids: coral dresses, turquoise hand tied white calla bouquets. Me: white dress, coral/white bouquet. Groomsman: navy uniform, no boutonnieres. Reception: turquoise tulle around chairs, white table clothes, blue napkins, tall calla lily centerpiece/submerged orchid centerpiece (half and half), coral rose petals sprinkled on table.
I guess I’m just having trouble envisioning it…
