@chachaya: i think if you are going for a garden party theme, you would need a LOT of floral and greenery.  i would bring some trees in and have lanterns and lots of lush, ferny type plants, as well as blooms. unfortunately, this means $$$$$.  is having it outdoors not an option?

See if you can rent potted trees from your florist, or buy fake ones from a craft store, and decorate them with pomanders and lights or something. Try seeing if you can find any arches to rent/buy and decorate them with fake flower garlands and put them around the doors. These are a few things I have seen done at indoor garden themed receptions.

I’m having a ceremony in a courtyard garden at my university.

Here’s an inspiration board I made. Think of hanging crystals, flowers/botanicals, lanterns, woodsy stuff, candlelight, etc.–basically bringing outside elements indoors. I hope this helps spur some creativity.

You don’t need a bunch of plants or flowers–check out our centerpiece idea in this inspiration board–just a handful of flowers will do it. I love garden-themed weddings. Your color palette sounds so dreamy, I adore it.

P.S. Our theme is “Key to my heart” (think Secret Garden). Our colors are blue and green, but I see your colors popping through on this board! 😉

Best wishes!
