Hello Bees –
So I only had 2 regrets from my wonderful wedding, 1 of which is that I did not have any not 1 stinking picture of the train on my dress (which was an epic train if I do say so myself)
So Darling Husband and I decided it might be fun to do a TTD session for our anniversary and we even figured out where we want to do it (Jerome AZ which is an awesome fun town a few hours away)
BUT my Darling Husband hated my longer hair since it looked like crud and I only grew it out for the wedding. So I recently at his request got it chopped back into a pixie/crop. Which we both love.
So not sure I can get the pixie style to work with my dress and have to decide – do I make it work somehow, grow it out somewhat and make it work or just live without pictures of the train?
Here is my dress (which I have posted WAAAAAAAAAAAY too many times) and here is my pixie

I love pixie cuts! (Though I’m biased, since I have one even shorter than yours 😉 ) it will work lovely with your dress! Why not consider adding a statement necklace if you’re worried about balance! That’s usually my main concern with wearing a visually “heavy” outfit.

@thepainter: I might although the dress is so detailed I am not sure how the statement necklace would work. I love pixie brides and I think crisper dresses look so amazing with the cut. Just afraid my head might look tiny with it being so poofy. I would style it with more fullness and definitely wear a headband or hairflower –
And thank the rest of you for the compliments. I always feel like the old ugly one on the boards – I do like my pixie because it means I do not have to fight my hair 🙂 But I must admit I have always wanted to look more like other people though. I am not very mainstream and the older I get the more noticeable it is. I feel like I look like a disney mouse more than a woman lol

@unixfairy: my hair was about your length now at my wedding and i grew it out for that pixie cut, it’s normally much shorter. (and i’m a mature bride too) i wore a birdcage and flower/fascinator. i think they look great with short hair. have you considered that?
